just installed this under our kitchen counter for me and my husband and I put it on 3/8 hoses tapped off our sink inlets and have it draining into our sink also and its working perfectly. We did the initial test load of 6 heavy towels and then did an actual wash and dry load test wash is only rinse and spin and they came out super dry. The time for the next load of normal clothes was about 3 hours and it took almost the same amount we would put in our old washer. Its also crazy how quiet this thing is especially on the dry cycles since it uses a condenser instead of a normal electric or gas heater.

If I could give it zero stars I would at this moment. It sounds like many people are experiencing the same issue with this unit: wet soggy steamy clothes not drying coming out even wetter after a dry cycle. I bought this in April and still to this day have not had a dry cycle work. Ive tried every type of dry cycle even using the drain-spin cycle before the dry cycles. I have no idea what the correct setting is to just dry the clothes. Could it be in the default settings? Ive had 4 different LG technicians to my house on 5 different occasions here in South Florida. The 1st one said it was the motherboard without opening the unit. So he ordered one week later he came back with one and when he opened up the unit he saw broken wires that had something to do with the heating he told me so he had to order all new wiring and didnt install the motherboard on this call. Im thinking this is a new machine it shouldnt have all these issues. A week later another tech came with the wiring but no motherboard. Then had to wait another week. 4th visit 2 techs came with both wiring and motherboard and installed it and told me to run a wash and dry cycle and let them know and left. I tried but the clothes still didnt dry as everyone had mentioned. Additionally on this call one of the technicians forgot to replace the drain hose they removed when they were replacing all the wiring and the motherboard. 5th service call new technician who actually did heat testing of the unit and said its heating up but still no drying and that he would come back and run more tests. So I reached out to LG after dealing with just the company that was sending the techs and explained again these issues and they contacted service providers to set up another up yet another appointment I have another service call tomorrow. Hopefully something finally gets resolved but Im not optimistic

No matter the dry setting this thing consistently leaves clothes soggy and wet. No setting tried gets dry results. Brand new right out of the box this model is just plain useless as a combo. Its basically a front load washer that takes longer and costs extra without giving any extra functionality because the drying function is completely ineffective.

This unit and company is garbage. Purchased this unit February 2025 and it came broken. It does not dry. It has been almost 2 months and I have not been able to do a single load of laundry in it. LG customer service is unhelpful a repair person has been out twice to fix it but it is still broken and does not dry. They have given us the runaround for almost 2 months and are extremely slow on providing a solution. When the dry cycle finishes the clothes are more wet than they were when the wash cycle finished. This cost me over $2k and what I paid for was a fully functioning machine but what I was given was a broken machine. Very fraudulent. Buyer beware.

This was just put in my apartment and it seems like a lot. I just used it today for the first time and the whole cycle was 3 hours. I think it should be shorter than that. I just want the usual wash/dry cycle. Previously it took 90 minutes for wash and dry. Not sure that I like that I cant pick the options I want to do the laundry. If there is a way to customize the options its not easy to find. Love the washer and dryer in one unit though.

I dont understand the negative reviews it just seems some people did not research how ventless machines operate prior to purchasing. I bought this unit to replace an earlier LG washer/dryer combo from 15 years ago. The different is NIGHT and DAY. It cleans superbly has a ton of cleaning options and features and the improvements on the drying side are remarkable. Most of my dry times are around an hour it is the cleaning cycles that are longer but understand they are far superior to your typical top loader. I bought this through LG.com and the installation and customer service so far have been top notch. Not kidding this is one of the best purchases I have made in recent times.

I purchased this machine after my old one same exact model expired and I had to part with it. I knew exactly what I am getting myself into longer drying times excessive shaking on the Ex high speeds etc.. However given the size of the machine and my apartment it works for me. From the time I received the unit everything that could have gone wrong with it - went wrong: the unit was delivered unpacked to my apartment apparently the guys unpacked it in the truck and brought it up naked as they cut through the tape to place extra parts to the drum they also scratched it for which I was reimbursed the unit is simply not drying the clothes - its malfunctioning for every drying option it simply makes my clothes dripping wet. I called LG - they sent a local specialist which did a computer test on the unit and it showed that there was nothing wrong with it. The clothes are still soaking wet. I notice a similar trend with any electronics you buy now-a-days - cheaply made with 0 support. Not sure what am I going to do - but the whole experience left a very bad taste.

**Disappointed with LG Laundry Machine

I purchased an LG laundry machine 1 year and 6 months ago for $1399 expecting a reliable and durable product. Unfortunately the machine stopped working recently and my experience with LGs customer service has been frustrating. It took several days just to get a response and when I finally spoke to customer service I was told I would need to pay $300 for a repair. For a machine of this price and reputation I expected much better quality and customer support. Its a shame that I trusted LG as this experience has left me completely dissatisfied. I will never purchase another LG product again and I cannot recommend them to others. It was a truly disappointing experience.

Do not waste your time and energy on this. It takes 2 hours for the most basic cycle with 4 items of clothing in it. thats about all you can fit. And it never REALLY dries anything. They are always a bit damp. I got mine less than a year ago. I hardly use it because it is too frustrating. And now its broken down and Ive been waiting weeks to get it fixed.

I bought my machine a year ago and have had multiple issues with it not working. We fixed it ourselves this summer. But when we got the same OE error code this fall we put in a request with LG to fix it. They sent a Sears person twice who replaced the pump and said he fixed it. BTW the Sears repair person was rude I did not appreciate him being in my home. But the bigger issue is that he did not fix the machine. So I reached out to LG again and insisted they send a LG repair person this time which they did the guy came out twice replaced the circuit and said the machine would be working. Well unfortunately its not. BTW each time this happens I spend hours cleaning out the machine from standing water and dumping the water in buckets then cleaning my floor. Plus I have sopping wet towels I have to twist hang and wash elsewhere. Plus I have laundry piling up that Ive not been able to wash. Each time I reach out to LG I have to get past their bots to get a human to help me. Perhaps we have a lemon I dont know but need LG to resolve the issue for us.

Been dealing with lg customer service since day 1 i was still reading manual which is very vague and unhelpful past the 2 day return window and ive had 2 people come and work on it both say they stink with a shoulder shrug and lg wont take it back wont make it right. Its going to be a paper weight outside now because im done. LG wont even pay for a 3rd repair and ive had it 6 months. This is ok for a college student but not a family. The dryer part sucks. Machine shakes. Easy to get clogged. Good thing is it uses only a little detergent. Also it uses a lot less electricity. Can only do small loads not blankets etc. would not buy again.

Question: Where is the lint filter on this model. On the larger model it is on top of the machine so the install space must be ~10 inches higher than the machine. On this model the manual says the install space need only be 1/4 inch higher than the machine so the link filter must be elsewhere. Where is it?

This is the worst product and customer service experience I have ever had. It has leaked from the day It was installed. I did all of the trouble shooting and still it leaked. BASCO customer service set up an appointment to send someone out a month later between 1-4. at 5:00 I got a text message that the would be there at 5:15 I was already gone and 3 weeks later no follow up.LG contacted me via text message saying they would reimburse me if I followed certain instruction which I did. I received a check in the mail within 2 weeks. That was 3 weeks ago. Even if the check arrives I am out the delivery fee and I am left with a leaky washer dryer that I will have to pay to dispose.

I love this little machine Why bother with washing machines the size of a phone booth? I love its small size but very decent capacity. I love not having to move wet clothes from the washer and the dryer. I love that it is ventless. Does a great job washing and drying and steam refreshing The clothes only seem damp when they come out -- when folded they are absolutely dry and wrinkle-free. The only thing that is hard is there is not a matching pedestal so finding a stand for the little machine has been a real drag. Still looking for something.

The long dry cycle does not completely dry the load. When the cycle ends and you open the unit a big cloud of steam is emitted. I end up putting the laundry out side on my drying line.

i absolutely love my machine. I rent an apartment and it came with this 2 in 1 washer dryer combo i dont understand where the negative reviews are coming from. It is a smaller load capacity drum good for one or two people in a home/apartment. It has a sticker when you open up the lid that shows you what the max load height is for drying. Clothes always come out dry sometimes you need to give the clothes a wave in the air as they are steamed and feel damp but are not. It does not take 5 hours to do one load more like 2/3 including drying and considering how big or small the load is.

It was a challenge having this item delivered. The delivery team was very difficult however Costco customer service rectified the situation. Additionally there was a problem with the drying feature right out of the box. It took a couple of weeks to have that fixed and now all appears to be well. Keeping my fingers crossed that I do not have any additional issues with this machine.

We have a dog so this combo washer/dryer was a terrible choice. It clogs all the time and the only way to drain it and clear the clog is a little tube near the ground so I have to fill little water bottles for an hour and pour them in a big bucket. It leaves clothes wrinkled and covered in dog hair every single time. You can only use the drying option with certain cycles so half the dial is useless without a separate dryer. I have had the unit for one just over a year. Of course it broke right after the warranty expires. Basically a complete waste of almost $2k. I am debating buying another product from LG in the future after this awful experience.

No pedestal available from LG had to have one built for an added expense as machine is too low to see controls and use without considerable bending bad for the back. Very small capacity not for washing sheets towels larger items. No lint catching screen is also inconvenient must wipe lint from door rim. Aside from these and a few other design issues the combination design is a reasonable solution for limited space.

Bought this a Oct 2022 as a temp unit while we redo our laundry room. The smell is horrible. Clothes come out like burnt rubber. Call LG and they said that it is normal and will go away after a few washes. Well it doesnt. After a dozen washes the rubber gasket for the door ripped. LG Rep said that the part was on back order. Thank god this was only a temp unit for us but would be nice that it would work as a unit for sport activity clothes.

Received a damaged unit. Contacted LG after a few days they denied my repair request claim. RNN240119066061 claim. I have a very expensive paperweight thats cant do laundry leaks and needs repair.

If I could give zero stars I would. It stopped working less than 9 months after I bought it. Getting someone to come fix it is a whole other issue that shouldnt be as bad as it is. When it did work it worked pretty good. The dryer is a bit picky about the load thats just a learning curve. A wash and dry cycle is almost 4 hours plus cool down time. Its not a bad thing but its good to know what to expect.

This unit is wonderful for the being so compact. We were able to get half of my laundry closet available for storage. The washing part of the unit is great. The drying part leave something to be desired. We are constantly using the 2 hr setting for drying and most times have to use it twice. Wish we could download a setting for 3 or 4 hr drying cycle.

It washes and dries the clothes but needs montoring so that it doesnt move across the room and rip the piping out of the wall ffrom shaking so much. The clothes also have a smell.. kind of salty?

It washes it dries. But... the clothes smell funny once theyre done and it shakes so much I have to monitor it so it doesnt crawl across the room and rip the piping out of the wall.

All in one combo

I had the machine for 9 months now. I have the all in one combo. I like the machine. It does what I bought it for. The only down side to this machine is the time it takes to wash and dry. With a full load. It takes about 3 to 4 hours to finish completely. Other than the length of time it takes for a load. It is a awesome machine.

Almost Perfect RV Unit

The all-in-one unit was the perfect unit to install in my travel trailers outdoor kitchen cubby. Though the vibration sensor went out a few weeks into using it but it got replaced under warranty. My only true gripe is that the remote start is kind of inconvenient because you still have to hold down a button to activate it every time and it doesnt give you the same flexibility with the wash/dry options that you can utilize when controlling it at the unit.
