Rhythmic Noise

I really do love this washer and dryer.....however there is one anomaly. The dryer works wonderfully but makes a continuously rhythmic light clicking sound. The dryer drum is designed in such a way that the outside ridges of the drum knock lightly against part of the frame or something like that. LG sent out an amazing LG expert. All is well but the noise. We have to close a door we had not had to close with the old set.

Worthless warrantee

This product worked fine for about 1 year. Promptly after that and right after my parts and labor warrantee expired it began making a very loud banging noice as it ran. A quick look and it was clear that the drum had cracked. A quick call to LG and they agreed and would replace the part and send it to any local technician.EXCEPT There are no local technicians. I tried many times to explain that nobody would drive to upstate New York to replace the drum without charging me much more than the drum was worth itself. I tried to explain that I would replace it myself and to please please just send it to me but they would not. So much for any value in my defective parts warrantee. I bought the part myself replaced it in an evening and I suppose I can expect to work for another 13 months. Not a great experience.

Customer Service - ATROCIOUS

I recieved the appliance yesterday with an associated washing machine. I spent over $2000.00. The delivery team arrived and indicated there was no haul away of old appliances which I paid for AND no install. Ok so I failed to click on install as I was trying to navigate the sight and shame on me for thinking that spending over $2k included install. I called LG requested the customer service rep to speak with the delivery team and inform them that it is ok to do the install which the team was more than happy to do. Also there is no install fee. Customer service refused. How about giving the customer the benefit of the doubt after spending over $2000 They were horrible and it turned in to a horrible experience. I lost 2 hours of work time dealing with this. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was on hold for 45 minutes to then be told the supervisor was unavailable. I was told a supervisor will call me and 36 hours later I am still waiting for my call. I am so absolutely disgusted. My advice do not buy LG. The products may work great but it is not worth the headache knowing customer service SUCKS. I am so absolutely disappointed. I was excited for my new washer and dryer and LG made it a nightmare experience. I will be adding a review on google YELP and other sites sharing my experience. There are too many other companies that make comparable if not better products with much better customer service. LG-you blew it

I bought this dryer because I wanted one with remote controls. An LG chat employee assured me before I ordered that this model has remote controls. It does not and I am very unhappy. The dryer has an app which I installed but I can no nothing with it. My previous dryer still worked. The LG is very complicated to use. The NORMAL setting provides no heat. The door does not open far enough and I can barely get around it.

No remote control??

Extremely disappointed that it does NOT appear to allow me to remotely control this dryer. Before I ordered I asked an LG employee in the chat room if I could remotely control this dryer and she said yes. I specifically asked about remotely putting the dryer on AIR after the previous cycle had ended. That is why I ordered it. Also the NORMAL setting provides no heat My previous dryer still worked. I bought this one solely for the assumed remote capability.

The dryer appears to have many options that are poorly documented at best. Attempts to get more information from LG has been somewhere between frustrating and downright insulting.. Until I figure it out Im forced to use a very expensive dryer on manual cycles that could have accomplished by purchasing a much less expensive model. The product is decent the customer service after the sale is non existent.

LG provides improper care

Dryer stopped working in the middle of operations. Contacted insurance company and they sent out a LG technician. Troubleshooting technician discovered that a motor wire was burnt out with visible damage to the motor itself. Changed the motor out and my dryer still doesnt work. He contacted his tech support saying its an external factor. When it was trouble shoot to a faulty unit itself. Connected the dryer to a different plug that provides the energy this unit needs to operate. It still doesnt work. Tech support from LG and the technician provided by LG is saying its an external issue most likely linked to the house and not the unit itself. The unit was in the middle of troubleshooting and the fault was internal to the unit itself. Tech support is saying its the house.

LG Dryer Filter Tore After Just a Couple of Uses

Im disappointed with the quality of the LG dryer filter. After only a few uses the filter has already torn. For a product from such a reputable brand I expected better durability. Its frustrating to deal with this issue so soon and I hope LG will take this into account to improve the quality of their components in the future

Worst buying / returning / refunding process ever

Dryer works ok. NEVER buy direct from LG. Worst delivery process and worst customer service. They missed their SCHEDULED delivery day causing me to cancel and buy somewhere else. It has been 18 days and NO REFUND TO CREDIT CARD because their delivery company is not responding to their request for returning item to warehouse. LG says it will take ANOTHER 10 BUSINESS DAYS once they get THEIR DELIVERY COMPANY to put the product back in the warehouse.

Complaint Public Review Unacceptable

About three weeks ago I spent thousands of dollars on an LG washer dryer and two pedestals. What I got in return is the worst customer experience of my life and a completely useless dryer that has left my family unable to wash clothes for almost a month. 1. Delivery was late from day one. LGs solution? Send me a patronizing convenience fee agreement for $150 which was promised by Nov 21 2025 its Nov 26th and still not provided. A lie. 2. The brand-new dryer has never worked not for a single cycle. It immediately throws a Flow Sense error claiming the vent is blocked. LGs tech support had me run diagnostics still blocked. They told me to get the vent professionally cleaned implying it was my fault. I paid Stanley Steemer $220 to clean a vent that was already clean. Result? The dryer still doesnt work. LG swore they would reimburse the $220. Another lie zero dollars back to date. 3. For three straight weeks Ive been trapped in an endless loop of hold music and empty promises that a dryer specialist will call me. That call never comes. I still have a $1200+ paperweight sitting in my laundry room and baskets of dirty laundry piling up. Just before the holidays. I cant even clean the sheets for visiting family members. LG has broken every promise they made: Late delivery and No $150 delivery convenience fee paid No $220 vent-cleaning reimbursement No service repair scheduled No working dryer No accountability This isnt customer service this is fraud dressed up as a warranty. You sell defective products blame the customer force us to spend our own money on useless fixes then ghost us when its time to make it right. I will post this story anywhere future customers might see it because no one should go through this nightmare. LG do the bare minimum that you owe me immediately: Fix the dryer or refund the full purchase price of the dryer and pedestals Refund the promised $150 convenience fee Refund the $220 I wasted on your false diagnosis Reimburse me at least $500 for more than three weeks of not being able to wash clothes and waiting on a customer service line without resolution or even a scheduled repair. Poorly assembled screws that should be removable are tightened so tight they strip instead of coming out. Which puts stress on the cheap piece of plastic causing it to crack.

My dryer is three months old and no longer heats. It is under warranty but unfortunately LG gives you the runaround and makes you jump through hoops eventually telling you they have a service request opened when you call a few days later that is not the case. I have now paid $220 to have my duct cleaned on their recommendation and still cant get them out here to make the repair. Consumer affairs has many negative reviews stating the exact same issue. Sounds like an item that needs to be recalled but they continue to sell it to unknown victims.

Horrible service Do not order through LG

I have no idea what the dryer is like because the delivery and servicing process has been so horrible. I still do not have a functioning driver. Instructions say I will be able to review the installation or delivery later on but no option came up so here it is: 1 though I ordered the dryer the stacking kit and the duct vent kit at the same time on the same webpage through LG. All three arrived through different means. The system had me accepting delivery without having the parts in place. I spent a long time trying to contact the delivery to have this changed so that all pieces would be in place. The stacking kit arrived with the screws and 1/3 of the parts missing. The delivery company that LG used did not install the duct vent kit though it was handed to them. And they could not install it properly because of the missing parts of the stacking kit. To reschedule and have them come back when I had the new stacking kit which I had to purchase and I will only get refunded for the one that is incomplete once it is boxed up and shipped back to the company. Scheduling them to come back was an exercise in frustration. They do not understand that people have to work and cannot be at home in the middle of the day and they cannot schedule according to a persons availability. Though they supposedly made notes on my delivery in the system the delivery people still came when I was at work. I suggest that if you want to buy an LG product you order through a local appliance store but not this huge company

Broke a year and a month after warranty expired. Customer support offered no assistance and said there was nothing they can do. They recommended we call our gas company because it wouldnt heat. After finding a third party on our own to repair. It was diagnosed that the heating element went bad. Having to shell out 400$ to repair after laughable support. I will never buy another LG appliance as long as I live. These guys wont be in business long if this is how they do business in 2025.

Really poor service support from LG

I had very bad experience with my order. I placed an order for washer dryer on lg.com for my new house. The installer confirmed they tested and it works fine. I took more than a month to move. And when i started using it it wasnt working it kept throwing d80 error. The code itself is an indicator of blocking in vent. I looked at the filter vent going out and everything was fine. So i called lg sent some pictures and they said the installation was not done correctly a flexible duct was used and what should have been used was a rigid or semi rigid duct. Issue 1 In spite of lg confirming it was installed correctly they first denied service since i am reporting it after 30 days i believe i reported on day 50 or so due to moving delays. I pushed back because this was their dealers that should have known recommended installation steps. Isssue 2 lg and installers are separate parties I expected customer support to represent me and pursue the dealer for better service. Instead they were just initiating a case and left it to me to follow up. And ofcourse having these dependecies and call transfers resulted in multiple call drops. Issue 3 there are no SLA on when the issues are resolved. They promised someone would call within 24 hours no one does. Now they say someone would call in 2 hours which i am having trouble believing. The product may be good time will tell but the service was so bad and i highly recommend staying away from lg.com online orders. Dealing with Costco would be so much better

The worst customer service experience

Cannot talk about the unit since I couldnt get it installed as LG sent me a wrong power cord. I just wasted 2+ hours getting directed between different departments verifying my order # and personal information and explaining the issue I have again again and again without getting the issue fixed. Seriously LG this is the WORST customer service experience Ive ever had. I called the Order support department and they directed me to the tech support department since only they can process the request for the correct parts. Then the tech support staff told me they dont have access to my order and its the Order support teams job to send me the right cord. I talked to the support team again and the agent told me a three-spike cord is the standard and I need to purchase my own if I want a four-spike cord. I was quite sure I received the four-spike cord thats why the installation technician couldnt install the unit but I had to come home to check. Turned out that LG did send me the four-prong power cord. So I had to call again and wasted another hour getting directed to the parts department and a few more god-knows-what-departments to learn that it is the order support department that can help me. Seriously LG do a better job.

Its fine. Does what I need it to. Ill need to reinstall it myself and add the water supply due to improper installation. Customer service has been silent after I informed them the installer crushed the flex vent with the gas line. Its now a fire hazard. Apparently thats OK. Ill need to purchase another vent non-flex and reinstall. They also failed to run water to the unit. Just do it yourself or pay for someone else to do it. LG cant be trusted.

Only offers high heat settings

Dryer looks great and has high capacity. But there are extremely limited programmed and downloaded cycles for this model. If you want a dryer that uses very high heat this is your dryer. However if you dont want all of your clothes shrunk and want to actually use one of their high tech cycles buy a different LG model Even the normal setting is super hot. Ive reached out to customer support but this model only really offers 1 low heat cycle. They suggested using the timed dryer setting...so whats the point of all of the features? Check out the LG DLEX6700B / DLEX6700W or LG DLEX8900B / DLEX8900W instead if you dont want to buy a whole new wardrobe. And LG please offer additional downloaded cycles for this model

Good dryer but pathetic installation service. The guy came in and broke the dryer duct and could not connect to my brand new recessed dryer vent. Ended up bending the vent such that it is not circular anymore and will have to bring someone to fix. LG can do better with installation. I will never buy directly from LG. Pathetic service .

My new dryer was installed today. Ive already run two loads of laundry through it and everything is working well. Its too soon to rate the dryer but I have one tip for future buyers. If you need for your dryer to vent on the side you must provide a side venting kit for the installer to install. A side venting kit IS NOT INCLUDED. I bought a kit ahead of time for about $80 and it saved the day.

The third-party service used by LG has shown incompetence and their customer support reflects this. There have been several cancellations and misleading texts indicating upcoming cancellations followed by a confirmation text two hours later. When the technician arrived they did not have all the necessary accessories to install the equipment properly. I have contacted both LG and ROXO multiple times to complete the installation I paid for. Based on this experience I am reconsidering future online purchases from them.

This is the worst big purchase Ive ever made. I regret purchasing all LG Appliances for my home specifically because of this clunky loud piece of garbage dryer. Customer service is an absolute joke and the repair companies are even worse. Its like to add that my unit is less than 2 months old and had issues out of the box and LG refuses to address them. Stay away from this dryer unless you want a loud heartbeat thump of a drum that you can hear through the whole house. LG claims the thumping is normal- must be a new feature for the LG dryers because weve never experienced this on older models. Straight trash.

Ive had it a few weeks. So far its drying adequately and I was pleased with the bedding setting that allowed me to get my comforter dried in much less time than my previous dryer. I wish the light would come on whenever I opened the door. Ill never need or use most of the high tech features.

I purchased on 11/20/24 and it was delivered 11/30/25 shipping and delivery was pretty fast. The items delivered to my new house and because I was out of state my brother meet them and accepted deliver. The deliver company set them up only to find out I ordered the wrong pedestals. When I got the new pedestals about 30 days later after I finished my move I had to install them. Upon moving the dryer it was discovered that the washers Right rear corner had major damage to the panel. There is no way the delivery guys did not see it and made sure my brother did not either. Lg said it was passed my 14 days and was out of luck.

Not installed correctly. It is missing all accessories and the door doesnt shut tight. Now we had to schedule another date to finish bringing some of the missing accessories and hooking the dryer up for steam. Its the only date he would give me but we have to leave by noon. So according to the asociate Ill have to reschedule if we cross paths that day. The door is also loose by almost inch even when it runs. The chat person didnt even care to address that. Its a thousand dollar appliance and we get treated better at Good Will...

The delivery process was terrible. The company changed my delivery date without my knowledge. I waited two different days and nothing. Finally a week later it was delivered and the delivery company refused to change the side of the dryer door the way the dryer opens in my laundry room is wrong. They said I have to contact LG for service. There is no direct number or email for service so its been 4 weeks now and its hard to use the dryer.
