It looks great but it is a very loud fridge. It does not seem to hold a consistent temperature. It randomly freezes the vegetables and you are never sure if the ice cream will be soft or frozen rock hard on any given day. I cannot recommend this product.

After a few years, ran all time. Freezer would frost up even though the door was closed. Two parts on the French doors broke that caused some trouble when closing the doors. The water line for the ice had issues after installation and then, never quite worked right. Eventually the top part stopped cooling and now I have to replace it. It's an attractive refrigerator and I loved the bronze color, but disappointed it didn't last longer.

I am pleased with the look and finish of this refrigerator. The counter depth is perfect and it is quiet. I wish it came with a butter compartment. It will take a little getting used to it as there is less room than the freezer on top model that I was used to, even though that old refrigerator took up less space. The small door "shelves" leave me wondering what to put in them that won't be forgotten. They are kind of "out of sight". And, a small container of touch up paint should not cost $30.

This refrigerator is not well designed. The crisper drawers are too small and have a lot of wasted space. The cabinet rattles on different cycles. The temperature control is not accurate. The recommendation is to set at 37deg. If I do that things freeze in the refrigerator part. The cooling is not uniform . Half a shelf will freeze and the other half does not. The freezer drawer wobbles when opening and the ice tray shelf doesn't open and close easily. I had to buy sight unseen because I needed a refrigerator quickly. Still took two weeks to get.

Terrible lower shelf freezer design

Absolutlely terrible freezer drawer design. Just got this refrigerator and only after install and began using did I discover that the two lower freezer drawers open together when the bottom section is opened. If you just want an item in the bottom section you have to push the top drawer back into its slot. Moreover, when the ice compartment is automatically filled that top drawer becomes heavy and its momentum when opened can send ice cubes out of its container. It seems this is common with this type of GE refrigerator when I looked at others today in the showroom. These drawers should open separately. Don't buy.

We love our new GE Refrigerator! Love the color. My mom always bought GE products. It™€™s certainly a name you can trust. It™€™s the perfect size for my husband and I. We had a unique situation with the amount of space we had and this fits perfectly! The cooling for both the top and bottom is good, the water outlet is perfect as well. It takes up no extra space being on the inside on the side. The only negative thing I can say about this refrigerator is that I wish the freezer was a little bigger and wish the top compartment moved back a little further. Otherwise, it™€™s good and I would buy it again.

Our space is narrow and we apprecaite this being offered n the rare 33" size. The freezer on the bottom spares stress on our lower backs since everything in the fridge is easily accesible. The fruit and veg drawers open when only the left or right door are open. The lighting is excellent! The matte finish fits well in our cozy cabin home. The freezer is deep and not easy to organize but the ice maker is fast. The doors swing wide open against the counter. Really enjoying this fridge!

This GE refrigerator is very cheaply made. The freezer didn't work from day one - it frosted immediately and little ice balls were all through it. First we were told it needed a new gasket; now we are being told it's something else. The shelving is not sturdy at all. Bottom line, it's a piece of JUNK. Unfortunately it is the only slate colored one that will fit in our space so we are stuck with it.

I do not like stainless steel, or plain white, which were the only choices at my local Lowes. I wanted a "Black Slate" fridge to match my GE stove, but of course they discontinued black slate. So, I had them order me this "Slate" which is a pretty good match, gunmetal gray. It's a sharp looking little refrigerator. It is very small inside, but perfect for one. It would not work for 2 or more people. It will not hold certain things, like watermelon or a turkey or anything in a gallon container. The vegetable drawers are too shallow for a head of lettuce. The freezer is TINY. It's also kind of noisy. So, my feelings are mixed. I love to look at it because it is prettier than my last one, but my next one will be bigger, and a real color (Big Chill?) This one cost me over $2200 which is way overpriced, just because it's not a "standard" color. Really, to me, gray is not a color that should cost $1000 more than stainless steel. Everybody doesn't want stainless steel. I don't understand why they don't give us more choices, at a fair price. Bottom line is if you like pretty but small, gray, expensive and noisy, this refrigerator is for you.

We love the slate finish. Our compressor runs very quietly. Because the fridge is counter depth, the crispers are a little short but adequate. Lighting is really good. If there were just one more inch between the lower door bins a two liter soft drink bottle would fit.

We love this refrigerator. It is a perfect size for us and the counter depth is perfect for our smaller kitchen. It works beautifully. We bought the matching gas stove and next on our list is the matching dishwasher.

Like the Slate Color

Was a bit surprised how fewer pieces of food I could fit into the freezer portion of the refrigerator. Counter depth which I wanted holds much less. I should have paid more attention to the cubic feet . I choxe it in slate and do like that color in my remodeled kitchen

Love my new GE refrigerator! It replaced a 30 year old GE. It™€™s beautiful Slate color, French doors & bottom freezer are perfect! There™€™s plenty of bright light on every shelf & drawer space, plus additional generous bins on both doors. All shelves, drawers & bins are clear, making it easy to see every item, no matter where you place it. The freezer drawer rolls out easily, allowing view of both the upper & lower baskets. So glad I picked this model & being counter depth, it fits perfectly in my kitchen.

Good looking refrigerator

Great refrigerator and it has plenty of room in both the main refrigerator and freezer. My only complaint is having to open the refrigerator to get to the water dispenser.
